Angry Deaf People

Our upcoming short film, “Dinner Table Syndrome,” tells the story of a deaf boy who struggles to navigate a Thanksgiving gathering, shedding light on a phenomenon that is often overlooked: the perpetual exclusion of the deaf from conversations. We intend for this film to not only be distributed among prestigious film festivals, but it will serve as a proof-of-concept for a feature-length film chronicling the upbringing of a deaf boy – which we aim to produce in the next few years.

Your generous support will help us cover the significant production costs, including equipment rental, location fees, and post-production expenses. By donating to our project, you will help us create an impactful film that raises awareness about the challenges faced by deaf individuals and their families while promoting inclusivity and understanding.

Your donation will be channeled through a non-profit organization, FilmNorth, which will accept and safeguard your charitable donation. Your donation will be tax-deductible.

We’re open to other means of support if you wish to contribute. Feel free to reach out to us.
